I mega-owned myself yesterday.

I was grinding for norn points, and after five or so hm vanquishings of Varajar Fells my brain was slowly melting to goo. That's my excuse.

After I'd completed the vanquishing, I went to Kerrsh to renew the aspect quest, clicked OK on his quest without reading the text... and got a reward.

I had forgotten to abandon the quest.

There went my chance of ever maxing norn reputation, double or not, in one brainfart of a click.
Or is there any other area in the game which yields about 6.5K norn points per hour?

As for Sunspear... I got to rank 9 by desolation-grinding, and that's when I realized that it's further from 9 to 10 than there is from 0 to 9. That realization just knocked the wind out of me. There are limits to how much boredom I can take for a title.

EDIT: Remember the days when GW was the mmorpg without mind-numbing grind? Those were the days, huh?

As for your Norn issue, can't you just join a grinding PUG? You can find them at Olafstead, and I think that as long as someone in the party has the quest it will work.

As for SS/LB, THANK GOD THIS WEEKEND HAPPENED. I have been putting off finishing my warrior and starting my paragon, so this is good motivation, although I'd rather be DoAing

What the hell is the point of complaining that you maxed the title last week, or yesterday, or whenever. I'd rather be done with it than have to grind 5-10 more hours this weekend. Some people here do nothing but complain.

Nice, I know if I want to get my next KoaBD rank, this is one of the easiest things to max and I really should do it. If only it wasn't so damn boring. At least this makes up for it.

It's still a shame that I didn't realise that there was a run that gave both SS and LB points, because I got R10 SS by grinding outside Gate of Desolation... Grr, oh well.

Haha, I just found out I won't be home most of the weekend. I'm going to Green Bay for the Packer game. Funny because that's the reason I missed the double reputation weekend I think. Anet has such impeccable timing.

You can't really be in an outpost and maxing your title. Well, some stuff like Sweets or Drunkard you can.
Anyone in Kamadan, LA, or KC will see it when you max out. I think it shows up in your chat box too. Can't look at my pics right now, so can't be for sure.

I got Legendary Cartographer 3 days before they changed the favour system, so never got to see my name up 'in lights'.

I really wish the LB/SS fast farm (or even hard mode) had been known when I put my ele through NF. Because of my habit of completing all the side quests I never had the two quests available for HM, I farmed most of mine in the Domain of Secrets before HM came out.

Oh well, might as well do it on my paragon I guess, should generate a goodly amount of drops and cash at the same time.

filling out HM hero's handbooks will get you 30k rep. and it's only slightly less mind-numbing than grinding varajar fells!

No, you don't. I saw the spam blurb about me hitting Legendary Guardian right after I completed the last bonus I was missing.

Jeeze, you really did do it the hard way. I did a couple of the early levels with the quest, but that got boring fast. So I started doing the runs from the desolation mission. Super easy in the wurm and it's quick so I'm in town more often and it feels like small breaks so it didn't feel as repetitive.

There's another place to farm LB in RoT, but of course, like most that I should keep, I've already done the quest that I need. I still have the SS/LB quests out of pure luck.

I'm totally taking advantage of this weekend, but the truth is, I'm kinda dreading it. LB farming is freaking boring and I've yet to find a place that I can do more than two runs and not start drifting off into my own world. Hmm, guess I'l have to get someone on Skype or TS to keep me aware.

/favor is almost at 10.000 minutes and it goes up by 700-800 each hour.
